What is an All-In-One?
An all-in-one is a diaper kover with a diaper sewn into the inside of it. The kover provides a water proof barrier, while the sewn in diaper soaks up what ever has to be soaked up. No keeping track of two pieces. Especially handy when your out and about.

Do I need a diaper to go with a kover?
YES. A Kam's Kover is a water proof barrier to contain the wetness. You can use what ever brand of "diaper" you wish. You will NOT need diaper pins/closures if using the one size kover. However, if you purchased the pull-up kover you WILL need some type of diaper closure as it will not hold the diaper in place.

What is a Not-paper-towel?
In an effort to promote the reduction of paper consumption, I present the not-paper-towel. They are re-purposed flannel sheets either donated to me or purchased from second hand shops, cut to the size of a paper towel. Edges are serged to stop raveling. There are 15 towels to a bundle. You yourself can make these. They are also great for your swifter or other floor cleaning device.

What is PUL?
It is poly knit fabric laminated with a layer of polyurethane bonded to it. It provides the water proof barrier in most commercial covers and all-in-ones.

What is a prefold?
It is a type of diaper. It can be made of many different types of fabrics. Prefold refers to the fact that the piece of cloth has been fan folded and sewn down the middle, creating multiple layers of fabric to soak up what needs to be soaked up. Some folks now add an extra layer of something really absorbent in between the two layers of the fan fold. The number of layers of outside edges to inside layers is refered to like this: 2x4x2 or 1x4x1

What is a soaker?
A soaker is a newer form of diaper. It can either be contoured or not. A contoured soaker will be hour glass shaped. Other soakers are different dimensions. Mine are 5" wide by 30" long. Giving you the flexibility to fold them in multiple layers where you need it the most. Up front for boys, in the middle for girls.

Does the type of fabric on the outside really make a difference?
Yes & No! Woven & Flannel fabrics will fit a little more snug as there is no give/stretch. Interlocks & Knits do stretch so fit with a little more give. Basically the difference is what you like to feel and the pattern/print that you like the most.

Does it matter how I wash & dry my Kam's?
Yes. You can wash your Kam's in any temperature water. However, I would recomend cold water to keep stains from setting. If you use a pre-soak bucket vs a dry bucket you will naturally have more stains. I recomend medium to low setting on drying or even better hang outside, save energy and get rid of stains the natural way, with sunshine. DO NOT USE BLEACH! It will eventually eat away at the proof polyurethane layer. DO NOT USE HIGH HEAT! It will warp the snaps and could melt the polyurethan layer.
